A Watercolor Workshop in Thun, Bernese Oberland
Just like the Impressionists, we will mix a vast array of shades using only yellow, red, and blue. Through meditative color exercises, we will familiarize ourselves with the materials and let the colors take effect on us.
In fine weather, we will gather color impressions along the banks of the Aare river, which can then be creatively and freely translated onto paper.

Painting in the South
Individual coaching from May 12 to 31, 2026
Surrounded by powerful nature and at a healthy distance from everyday life, the sea, the endless sky, and the fantastic landscape invite you to open your heart and senses and dive into the world of colors.
At the center of the painting process is the encounter with color. Your own expression unfolds quite naturally.
Furthermore, there is the opportunity to explore solutions to life’s questions through art therapy. This is an exciting, creative process that takes place with ease, yet works deeply and engages all the senses.
The 90-minute individual sessions take place three times a week by individual arrangement. Materials (Stockmar watercolors, brushes, and paper) are provided and charged according to consumption at approx. 40 Euros. The course fee is 550.-.

Volcanoes, Sea and Tropical Colors
A painting workshop on La Gomera from April 11th to 18th, 2026
We immerse ourselves in the world of colors on La Gomera. We experience the island’s plant life in all its diversity and the contrasts of red desert landscapes against the greens of the rainforest. The sky and the sea inspire us with their color tones. We train our perception through meditative color exercises. In the evening, we let the sunset sky influence us, with the volcano Teide visible on the horizon – in ever-changing colors. We bathe in all these shades and let the colors flow.
Whether in a meditative flow or with passionate intensity – we surrender ourselves to color.
All this takes place in this powerful and secluded location in the Atlantic. For painting materials, we use the primary Stockmar watercolors, which, along with brushes and watercolor paper, are provided for a contribution of about €40 (depending on consumption).
Please bring for our excursions: A sketchbook or watercolor block about DIN A4 in size with strong paper (min. 200 g), an empty six-egg carton or a small cardboard box or lunch box at least 14.5 cm x 4.5 cm, a palette, favorite brushes (if available), optional graphite pencil, cloth, water container with lid (min. 400 ml), optional seat pad and sun hat.
We will paint approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon and take a joint excursion, which will be billed separately on site.

Painting by the Sea
A painting workshop in southern Crete from June 1st to 6th, 2026
Bright light, intense colors, Mediterranean flora, and the wild forms of the Asterousia Mountains inspire a wealth of color mixing and natural impressions. Artist and coach Anna Lamberz will guide you in realizing these impressions and developing your own expression.
Meditative color exercises enhance and deepen color perception.
This course is suitable for beginners and advanced students alike.
We paint in the garden of Way Om with a view of the Libyan Sea.

Painting in the Paradise Garden
On the island of Samothraki from September 7th to 12th, 2025
In the shade of fig, olive, and pomegranate trees, we dive into the colors of Samothraki. Using special watercolors, we capture the play of light and shadow in the greenery, experiment with colorful flower spots, and revel in “sky colors” – from delicate pinks to deep indigo blues. We wander through old plane tree forests along a riverbed, rest at white rocks and turquoise pools.
We paint approximately 3 to 4 hours each morning, leaving plenty of time to explore the beautiful island and enjoy the sea.
Meditative color exercises sharpen our perception. Materials are provided for a contribution of about €50 (depending on consumption). Please bring two cotton cloths, a six-egg carton, and a sketchbook with sturdy paper suitable for watercolor, as well as sun protection, headwear, and a seat pad.

About my painting trips
In meditative color exercises, we refine our perception of color and thus absorb the impressions of nature deep within ourselves.
We collect patches of color and light on walks by the sea, in olive groves, by the river, under palm trees, or on the mountain slopes of the surrounding area. We later translate the resulting color palettes and inner images into paintings.
In this creative process, we experience an intense encounter with color in its many aspects. At the end of such a journey, you will feel more connected to yourself—connected to color and nature, inspired and filled with sunlight and the elements of these powerful oases.
